Occupational Therapy Home Assessment
- This in-home assessment is conducted by an Occupational Therapist and addresses an individual’s ability to perform basic and instrumental activities of daily living. Through client interview and functional assessment, areas of dysfunction are identified and recommendations to optimize function at home and in the community are made. This assessment applies to individuals with both physical and/or mental health concerns that are impacting function in the home and community. Appropriate follow up is conducted for provision of assistive devices or education to unsure compliance of recommended interventions.
